"Megs place was probably the cleanest VRBO I've been too. She was very responsive and such detail touches to make us feel welcomed. Even through the cottage was in the back of the property we had our own space. Kitchen had essentials but I didn't do any cooking this vacation since our stay was short. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was a bit small for any one on the larger size. Otherwise good hot water and pressure. Good location to town and beaches. I very rarely go back to a destination but if I were to return I would definitely stay again."

"We spent a short weekend here and truly enjoyed it! Mike was great at communicating with us and provided extra information about the neighborhood that only locals would know. The beds were very comfy and everything was very clean! It did get a tiny bit warm on the third floor but there were lots of fans in addition to the ACs. Check in was very smooth and explained in great detail ahead of time. There was a ton of stuff to do within a 10 minute radius and I wish we could've stayed longer!! I'd definitely recommend staying here. The neighborhood is so cute and quiet - we felt completely safe here. If you're taller, watch your head going between some of the doorways!"

"The house was updated and clean. Pleasant surroundings and decor. Stairs into house are very steep. Stairs up to bedroom also steep and handrail only goes part way up. We had to hang onto walls to be safe. Unable to get down stairs shower to work without wetting the floor. The host, Victor was very accommodating and friendly."

"Step right out onto a private beach from this family-centered home. The house accommodated our three-generation family beautifully with multiple spaces to gather (or to retreat to). A garage filled with sand toys and sports activities, and a Weber grill. Our kids enjoyed the kayak and the paddle board, too. While the house has 2.5 baths, note that the primary bathroom on the main floor is on the small side with a stall shower; the tub is currently unusable. This didn’t deter us a bit but it might be a problem for others. Bob, the host, was in frequent communication and very willing to offer help. We couldn’t have asked for a better setup for our family of eleven."

"I came with my husband and 2 kids. I originally booked for 5-6 people and 2 dogs but my older 2 decided not to come and I wasn’t sure about the dog situation. It said pet friendly but then received an email stating that it was only service dogs so I reached out and with a couple days I got a response saying only 1 dog allowed but at that time I decided not to bring them at all (better safe than sorry bc of the uncertainty). Over all the place was good. Great location for sure. Very close to everything. Nice back yard with seating which was great. I loved the games that they had in the game room. I did have issues with the wifi. None of us were able to connect so it was a hassle to get the TV situated for movie night. I reached out but I think bc it’s a third party company, they weren’t too helpful (although I think they tried) luckily I was able to sign in to my own xfinity connection before they contacted me back. I remember reading to be sure to fill the dishwasher with anything left and run it & wash and dry all the used towels, which was totally fine but I didn’t realize that there wasn’t a dishwasher in the kitchen so last minute I had to wash all the dishes that we accumulated by hand. I didn’t even look to see where the dishwasher would’ve been located which was my error. I just assumed that it was there. I also assumed that the laundry detergent was with the machine so I didn’t find it until I was done washing with only water Lol. It was in a cleaning kit at the sink"

"Unfortunately my wife got sick a few days before our trip and we decided the best option for us was to not go. We were past the point of any refund per the policy but John was understanding and immediately said we would could work something out. We were able to agree on a partial refund that worked for both of us. We hope to make the trip another time and would definitely rent from John in the future."

"I would recommend bringing your own oven mitts to remove food from oven, because there are none provided. Bring your own decaf ground coffee for the machine. There is no toaster oven so you need to use the broiler for toasting bagels.The place is across from the water. Air conditioning in bedrooms and living room. The place was convenient to everything in the area. If you want to go to Hammond castle museum you need to make ADVANCE reservations. Gloucester and rockport are the premium spots for a comfortable hot summer getaway in Massachusetts."
