"If you want to be on the water and enjoy a peaceful stay, this is the place for you. We loved the open floor plan and great outside seating. This canal is about half way between Wamplers and Iron Lake. The best if you want boating and kayaking. Super easy check in and out. We highly recommend this house close to everything in the Irish Hills."

"Enjoyable and relaxing stay with plenty a room for everyone. We swam, kayaked, fished from the dock and had a fun pontoon ride with Captain Neil. We would stay there again."

"Our family had a great vacation at Ted's Lake house on Wolf Lake. First - Ted is awesome. He called us the day before to give us some information and see if he could do anything to help. His recommendations were great. Then while we were there he stopped by to check and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. My mother-in-law mentioned the toaster didn't work, and within 2 hours he dropped off a different one. 2. The house was perfectly clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our group of 5 adults and 1 child. There were some initial complaints about one tv from one member of our group - after the first day, it was never mentioned again. A TV in the downstairs might cause you to miss the views right outside the 3 sliding glass doors! The well pump does take a minute to kick in, but once it does, we had plenty of hot water for everyone to shower without issue.3. Yes, parking is tight, but we had zero issues with a truck, boat trailer, and large SUV - we easily could've fit 2 (probably 3) more vehicles if we used the garage.3. All the water toys (kayaks, canoes, etc) that we used were perfectly functional if a little well loved. We also took them up on the pontoon boat rental for a day. It was a great way to get everyone out on the water (vs just 3 of us on the fishing boat), and way cheaper than the marina. This is not just a beautiful house at the lake. It is a beautiful house that makes you feel like you're part of the lake. We will be back."
"We had a great time. The owners were very attentive and friendly. Our family enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the lakes and channels nearby, as well as using the fishing gear that was all supplied at the house. Quiet and peaceful area, the lake is very private so we could float around casually and go to the sand bar."
"Cute, and comfortable, couple set backs, on grill and ceiling leaking, not something host could do at the time. But, she was informative, and on top of any questions I had."
"This house is amazing! It had enough bedrooms for a group of 13 adults. The heated indoor pool was actually comfortably warm the whole time and its a good size for a large group. One end is about 8ft deep. There were a lot of floaties, a basketball hoop, and pool balls. There is also a sensor on the door that chimes when it opens, which would be a nice safety feature for a group with kids. It was probably the cleanest rental home we have stayed at. The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, cookware, flatware, and other things you might need (citrus juicer, wine opener, etc.). There are multiple communal rooms that are great for large groups, including the dining table which probably seats 20. There are houses nearby, but the house is mostly surrounded by trees, so it feels very private; you won't see neighbors until you drive out on the road. There is a decent grocery store and gas stations within a 10 min drive. We also recommend kayak rentals at Tecumseh Paddling Company (about 30 mins away). Our group stayed at the Fort Recovery house (same owners as this house) and we have had a great experience both times. I highly recommend both houses, but especially this one because there's much more to do in the area. Thank you for a great stay!"
