The entire place was in pretty poor condition, the bathroom had dirty towels hanging on the back of the door and no toilet paper One of the beds had not had the sheets changed the sheet was dirty. I wish I had taken pictures, but it was nasty.

In my opinion Whitehall is an interesting community. With quaint looking shops, as well as some nationally known companies.

Playhouse at White Lake is terrific since its renovation, and the performance of "Escanaba in da Moonlight" was so well-done. My experience of Michigan-ers (-ites? -arians?) is that they are friendly and cheerful, generous and helpful.
