"there is NO beach view from the lodge but a superb distant view of the City of Plymouth across the Tamar river. Property very clean, outside patio area & furniture needs a good pressure wash clean. One single bed lacks headboard, no bathmats for showers, these are minor gripes, it's a lovely place to stay with nearly everything you need inside. Good restaurant on site."

"What a lovely place and very wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming. We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable. "My husband and I stayed in "Hawkins" cottage at Portwrinkle and we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect for us and the cottage had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and well laid out. The hot tub was a great feature. One of the reasons we chose this cottage is because it has a conservatory overlooking the sea, in case of inclement weather. However, it was a beautiful week so we made full use of the terrace and garden. Our dog also enjoyed his stay and the lovely beach walks and SW Coast Path nearby. A lovely break! "
