"Although I was genuinely happy with the sweet staff at breakfast (the kindest woman who was so sweet and loving to my 5 kiddos), the property was ROUGH. It smelled awful of weed throughout the hallways and rooms, and my kids asking if 'a skunk got hit on the road near us'. The carpets were stained with all kinds of colors in the rooms. There were zero sheets for the pull out sofa and only one small extra blanket to use for it. The doors to the rooms were so hard to open in spite of doing the 'tricks' of turning handles up vs down and leaving the guest card in vs sliding in and out. We booked two suites because of how many of us there were (9 total) but they had them on two different floors and far apart initially. At check-in, she was trying to help by moving our rooms to the same floor, but it meant a downgrade to a basic queen room for half the members of our party and less space. Instead of any kind of partial refund, we were just told someone else would be happy with the 'free upgrade' to our missed suite and that we wouldn't be charged the typical hold for 'incidentals'. The pool is as small as the room, the 'spa' had 1 jet of 6 working so it was more of a warm bathtub. The vending machines take your money but dont give items in return. And don't expect a refund because "that's another company" that runs the vending machines. If we had to spend more than a night there, we would have just left."

"The air conditioner was broken, the hot water ran out but Expedia gave me $25 key cash for that. The grab and go breakfast was paltry. The hotel is clean but it is very bare and basic. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was also clean. The rooms are certainly due for an upgrade but fine for the price. Typically a Marriott guy, but we were in that area for a soccer tournament. "

"Let me start off by saying I mistakenly booked a smoking room which was on me. I should have been more diligent when reading the room description instead of just focusing on the price. That being said, when the desk manager told me it was a smoking room, naturally I was upset. I’d been driving for 14 hours so I was exhausted and irritated. The manager was very sympathetic to my issue but the rooms were all sold out. It was too late to cancel the room without being charged and when I called Expedia as he suggested, I was advised it was the hotel’s choice not to charge me. He never mentioned that. That was strike one. The room was absolutely disgusting smelling. The price was way too high for the state of the room. Strike two. And the guests in the adjoining room were super loud along with their television. I could hear every word of their conversation without even wanting to. I called the front desk and nothing was done about it which is bad because it was well after 11:00 pm. I couldn’t sleep all night. My grandson woke up with a sore throat and stuffy nose just from the amount of cigarette stench. And that, folks, is strike three. I will not be re-visiting this establishment."

"The rooms are good other than the floors. The floors are FILTHY. The cleaning crew needs to focus on actually cleaning them. I personally don't think they ever sweep or mop the floors. I took a shower and as fast as I left the bathroom to turn the lights out for the night,my feet were black from walking through the room before turning out the light beside the bed. This problem has been addressed many times but ignored. PLEASE CLEAN THE FLOORS IN EVERY ROOM!!!!!"

"We will definitely be going back again for such an amazing price. There was so much to do. My only regret is not staying for an entire week instead of a weekend."
