To start, I was surprised to be charged an additional $45 for parking without clear communication ahead of time. As a guest, I expect transparency—especially when extra fees are involved. When I entered my room, although the space itself looked decent at first glance, the cleanliness was not acceptable. The carpet had visible stains, which immediately made the room feel poorly maintained and unhygienic. The next morning, I asked about breakfast and was informed that it was not included with the room. While I understand that not all hotels offer complimentary breakfast, this was not clearly explained during booking. Additionally, the front desk staff member I interacted with that morning lacked professionalism and did not provide a welcoming or helpful experience. Another major concern was the parking situation. Accessing the parking lot after 10 PM was confusing and inconvenient. The entry and exit process is not clearly marked, making it unnecessarily difficult for guests to navigate—especially at night. Overall, this stay was disappointing due to poor communication, lack of cleanliness, and unprofessional customer service. Management should take these concerns seriously and focus on better staff training, clearer policies, and improved maintenance. "We stayed on the 5th floor. It was extremely noisy - not sure if the room given was close to a certain machine - but sleeping was horrible. It was interrupted by extreme noise. We won’t be back. More cleaning is needed in the room, in regards to dusting. However, the hotel looks very quaint."

"Staff was friendlyyyy. They were all so cool! The hotel is a bit older but they modernized it without taking away its charm. The bed was sooo comfortable & sheets were so soft I was looking for the brand to get them at home! I’ll definitely stay again! "

"The hotel is gorgeous,BUT I’m not sure who is helping them with design? The lighting in this place is awful. It’s white fluorescent lights. Here’s this beautiful lobby that could make you feel like a star in the twenties, instead you look like a pasty faced troll and the urge to leave is strong. WARM LIGHTS, would make this hotel first class. Even the lighting in their ball room is atrocious. A bride would look sickly under those lights. Too bad, as it’s gorgeous. Put warm lights in the chandeliers and keep the surrounding lights white. This really takes the hotel down a star. Service is amazing. The rooms are clean and mine was large for the price. Unfortunately, the beds are hard as rocks. I found myself having to take ibuprofen after my second day. Others complained about this to me as well. I left my 3 day stay very sore. "
