"Breakfast is a bit expensive in my opinion esp if your traveling with young kids who are picky and still have to pay normal prices even though they don’t eat much. But other the. That it was good. There was poop in the pool for two days and the staff didn’t clean it—regardless of bringing it to their attention. And how do I know it was poop, one of the kids stepped on it and it stained the bottom of the pool. So idk how long after they cleaned it. But two days in a row, it was there."

"4 days at the Kontiki beach resort. Very relaxing. The room was pretty decent. Well maintained with the exception of the poor drainage of the shower. Housekeeping was excellent. They cleaned the room daily and made certain that we had fresh towels. The amenities were ok but the pool located outside our room was drained for cleaning purposes and not refilled until day 3 of our stay. The hotel staff was accommodating with this issue and offered other pool options which led to another empty pool. They then gave us a food and beverage credit to address this dissatisfaction. On a brighter side, the resort is located on the beach with comfy sun beds available for visitors. The restaurants are good and the staff is friendly. Ohh, and the water is safe to drink. The hotel also has parking available if you rent a car. Reagan checked us in and not to blame him, but we didn't realize we had complimentary breakfast during our stay. My advice is to remind your guest. Because we are forgetful. Lol. Tiyannie was EVERYTHING.. Our concierge, our front desk, and our comfort when we were disappointed with the pool. If I ever visit again, I will be sure to stay at the luxury suites."

"The hotel is in a very convenient area. Extremely walkable to lots of restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It wasn’t as much as an ocean view as I expected and the rooftop pool had mold so I was sad that I got in it. Otherwise our room was very clean and it was great for our stay."

"We rented a 2 bedroom apartment for our stay. A couple of months before we arrived Lions Dive contacted us and said there was construction in nearby rooms and offered us complimentary breakfast buffet for our entire stay. Although there was construction noise the free breakfast buffet more than made up for it. We don’t typically spend much time in the room. Staff was great, Eldridge was especially helpful getting us to our apartment and making sure we had everything we needed. We are beach people so we never got in either pool. The apartment was completely cleaned daily. The house keepers did an excellent job."

"It was great. The swim-up bar could be better about the type of the liquors and they should respect the time of the activities. The buffet had variety of food but they need a couple more of tables."

"Floor of our room needed a good clean-up. The room itself is modern and nice. Connecting doors, however, seem to make the rooms noisy. Front-office manager and staff were excellent, they are very attentive to all details. Breakfast buffet had minimum items, service personnel in restaurant lacked supervision. Property gives good overall impression in the general areas. The parking lot was full all the time, the parking garage seemed unsupervised."
