It was a very cute room. Very historic. There were ants all over however. But the location was the best. If you are looking for a quiet retreat the Market Square Tavern rooms are not for you. The cannon goes off a lot and drum and fife play frequently. But you can walk everywhere from it.

What a treat to get to stay in a historic building in Colonial Williamsburg! Our room at the old tavern was very comfortable and we loved taking our morning cup of coffee out to the back porch and then walking through the still streets. In addition, the staff at the Williamsburg Inn went above and beyond for us during our stay. When we discovered that the rental car wouldn’t start in the morning, the check-in staff sprang into action. Our bags were tucked in a secure place and they drove us to make sure my daughter made it to her interview. Then, when the tow truck still hadn’t arrived two hours later, Adrian kindly drove over to our vehicle and with a little help from YouTube we were able to restart the car. Everyone on the staff was so kind and helpful! Thank you!

Williamsburg was a last minute stop on our vacation and we were elated we made the trip. The location for our property was amazing. Walk to everything and the area was really beautiful with much to do. House was fun as it was in the colonial period.

Eric with maintenance was fantastic! was prompt in helping us get into the room after the lock failed and was prompt in getting us out of the room after we were locked in as the door knob was not working. Staff was great in crediting us for a couple of drinks and an appetizer. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The facility and surrounding area was fine. Food at the Inn left a lot to be desired. I highly recommend Christina Campbells Tavern for dinner. You must make a reservation. We went off site for breakfast and dinner a couple of times Francesco’s Italian restaurant on Richmond Road was exceptional

you are located right in the colonial area of Williamsburg which is really great . The rooms are small and it was a bit tough to connect with cleaning staff to make up our rooms. I am glad we tried it out, but I think I will head back to a more traditional hotel for a few more amentities

The colonial cottage is a great place to stay when visiting Williamsburg. It gives visitors a feel for living in the community as it might’ve been years ago. Perfect for families or larger groups. Fully equipped kitchen makes dining in an option. Would stay here again.
