"I would not recommend staying at Kasa Hillsboro Beach. The property was dirty and poorly maintained throughout our stay. There was visible mold covering parts of the ceilings, trash scattered around the cabanas, and even dog feces left on the balcony outside of the gym. Parts of the property are literally falling apart — there was an area of collapsed ground that had simply been roped off instead of properly repaired. The room layout was also incredibly uncomfortable and lacked privacy. The only window directly overlooked another guest’s balcony and windows, making the space feel claustrophobic and invasive for everyone involved. Customer service was disappointing from start to finish. Staff were difficult to find, even during posted staffed hours, and management was dismissive of our concerns until photo evidence was provided. The front desk staff and property manager were also unfriendly in even basic interactions. For a property charging resort fees, the amenities and service were unacceptable. Nearly everything came with an additional charge — housekeeping, parking, late checkout, etc. — yet the overall experience was below the standard of even an average 3-star hotel. The beach setup was also extremely limited, with only a handful of umbrellas/chairs available for guests. The beach area itself was heavily eroded and covered with debris. Overall, this property is overpriced, poorly maintained, and lacking the level of hospitality it advertises."

"I was very disappointed with my stay. The room had a strong mold/mildew odor that made it feel unhealthy and uncomfortable, and the smell became overwhelming overnight, causing physical discomfort. As someone who travels often and works in hospitality, I understand maintenance issues happen, but this room was far below acceptable standards. I believe the air quality and possible mold issue should be investigated, and I would appreciate consideration for compensation or a refund due to the negative experience."

"I don’t have enough words to describe how nice was our stay at this resort! From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out of this hotel, every interaction with all staff was so amazing. They are professional, friendly, and try to accommodate guests in every way! The room was amazing too! It was clean and no weird smells. We had a suite with two balconies with beach view. We also had a car and we had valet parking which was very simple and easy. The amenities here were great! Seats with umbrellas at the beach, swimming pool with a bar, restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed the fitness center with sauna. I was impressed with the experience i had here and already telling all my friends and family about this resort and will definitely come back."

"The property was ok. The pool by the beach is very small and crowded. The food was decent but overpriced. The beds were very small and not that comfortable. Tiny bathroom, exhaust fan didn’t work, glass door. Entrance door to our room kept jiggling making it sound like someone was trying to break in, waking us up before the sun came up and continued on for hours. The center pool was a quiet atmosphere and front entrance was nice. The location to the beach was also nice. We also didn’t like having to pay $55 per day for parking. All in all it was alright but we won’t stay there again."
