Amazing place...

We had an amazing stay. It was our 28th wedding anniversary. It was very clean and very comfortable. My wife is gluten free and they catered for her which was very good. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Great B and B

A big misunderstanding on our check in was dealt with very well once the owners realised the issue. It was a big issue, but, as I say dealt with exremely competently. A lovely b and b and very fresh tasty breakfasts are served by friendly owners/staff.

Beautiful guesthouse in ideal location

Lovely guesthouse with private parking situated just 5 minutes from Bowness centre and lake ferry point etc. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable super king bed (superior room). Nicely furnished. Added bonus was a good sized fridge and large fan which we needed as there was a heatwave. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to park up prior to check-in in as we arrived a little early. Will definitely be returning!!

Excellent B and B. Perfect hosts. Lovely big room and massive bed. Setting is so nice, green and lush. Only two minutes into Bowness. Great parking. Very clean Breakfast excellent. Will book next time we are in Lakes

Lovely gem

Friendly hosts with efficient service Lovely fresh breakfast - working distance from amenities + parking on site etc Only negative for is was the room bed etc was not made up daily ( we were in here six nights in total ) and other places we have stayed do this. We did however get fresh sheets and towels part way through our stay Which was appreciated - thank you an overall excellent stay

Didn’t like it when we first got there after travelling a couple of hours and needed the toilet only to find I had to go to the public toilets in town as the room wasn’t ready, and they had no toilets for me to use, I felt I could have used my room even though it wasn’t cleaned then gone to town and wait for the room to be ready

Perfect stay

It was cold the day on arrival. The heating was not on at that time but did come on later in the evening. Was very pleased with the room, it was spacious, light and very clean, as was the bathroom. Parking at the front of the building but off the main road. Food was great but service not very attentive. The first night was bit of a nightmare. There was a medical incident, as my room was right by the front door there was a fair bit of noise. Saying that it was a rarity and was not at all usual. Second night was perfect. Owner even approached me to apologise for the rare incident. Perfect stay. Would love to come again.

Very Pleasant Stay

Definite recommend Dene House the room was clean tidy bed comfortable with all facilities needed.The breakfast was excellent with plenty to choise from.Finally the host were very pleasant and helpful.Also location was ideal for walking into town.Thank you for a lovely stay.

Comfy stay

Lovely comfy place. Friendly welcome on arrival and throughout the stay. Short walk from Bowness. A bit of a longer stroll to Windermere ( about 35 minutes away) Lots of eating and snacking places nearby. A good breakfast at the hotel sets you up for the day.

Good quiet location within easy walking distance of the centre. Lovely welcome from a friendly host. Our room was warm, clean and well equipped (appreciated the wine glasses and bottle opener!), the bed was really comfortable and we slept really well. Excellent breakfast - we both had the boiled eggs and toast soldiers but other guests seemed to be enjoying the full breakfast that was also on offer. Would definitely stay again.
