An absolutely stunning property! The cabin was clean, well stocked and perfectly located to see the gorgeous sunrise. So very grateful for our quick trip at Fat Sheep Farm. Looking forward to returning!
Honestly as soon as I got there I knew I had made a good choice. Then I stepped into the cabin and knew I had made an excellent choice. It’s by far the cleanest place Ive stayed. I went looking for peace and quiet and I got just that. It’s silent, it’s beautiful, it’s private. Even though it’s deep winter I still got to hang in the barn, feed the animals, go on quiet hikes. The animals are extremely friendly, they’re are used to people and enjoy being petted. There’s this super nice lady who cares for the animals and she’s so attentive and friendly. 11/10. Can’t wait to be back.
This was a wonderful one night stay as part of our leaf peeping trip to Vermont from the UK. One thing to be aware of is that GPS/satnav is really bad in this area. Make sure you take printed written instructions of how to find them.
The cabin is absolutely lovely.
It’s really well equipped, especially the kitchen which has good quality knives, saucepans, frying pans, etc important if you’re going to be doing your own cooking. Lovely little touches of leaving a couple of home-made scones and some fresh eggs for us. The view from the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The bed is really comfortable, the linen is high quality and we were just sorry that we only stayed one night. Highly recommended.
The cabin was perfect, roomy and clean. My 5 & 7 year old grandchildren loved that they could sled right next to the cabin. They also enjoyed helping to feed the sheep & chickens in the morning! We will definitely visit again during the summer to enjoy some of the area hiking!
The fat sheep farm is such a a cute cozy place. We partook in morning chores with Jay, she is absolutely amazing. She made everyone feel at home with interacting with the sheep. She was very knowledge and you can tell she genuinely loves the animals.
Todd and Suzy are amazing as well. We breifly met Todd upon arrival, he brought us fresh eggs and scones, both were so yummy. We were able to chat with Suzy for a bit such a nice person.
They have two dogs Rocky and Coco. Coco is so friendly.
The cabin was cute, cozy and most of all quiet. This place is so peacful. We sat there and watched the sun rise and sunsets. There was a full moon which was breathtaking.
I did not want to leave the farm!!
We are already planning our next trip.
Woman who runs the place is great, such a nice little cabin beautiful views!

Well I didn’t like the strange having to take out your trash at the end of the stay perhaps the locks to the doors would work or not work a very very primitive know if we would’ve known that we would’ve brought other things maybe they should’ve explained that there was no TV When I spoke he seemed like I was bothering him and he just wasn’t very friendly especially since I wasn’t going to meet them and they already taken my money you would’ve thought he would’ve been a little bit more friendly over the phone his voice was not very welcoming it was just a very very very very very strange stay
