It is a small casino, the rooms are three levels above, and they were fairly quiet enough to sleep. We were not bothered by any other guests, the bathrooms were clean, the beds were decent, and I wish we would have had more time in the morning to try out breakfast in their restaurant.
Very nice property along US95 going through town. No elevator have to use stairs which are inside. Rooms are dated and on the small side. Had some issues with the ac unit but it kept the room cool. Ate inside the casino. Food was very good and plentiful. Would recommend giving it a try.
This place is in a casino. That should be obvious even in another language. It will have people in the lobby smoking 24/7. Don't leave a bad review if you smell smoke from the lobby. Holy cow, some people.
The staff was incredibly friendly. There is a restaurant and bar on site. It is open 24/7. This is an insomniac s dream come true. Will definitely stay here again!!!
The town was established in 1866. The hotel was built in 1950. If you are planning on staying here, keep that in mind. If you expect anything in the room to be like a real hotel, tone your expectations down a bit. Our room was very small and bathroom was about the size of a broom closet. Many of the outlets didn't work and without a fan in the bathroom, everything in there was soaking wet from the shower steam. The towels on the rack were wet and we never used 90% of them. The lobby of the hotel is very nice and the staff throughout the property were very nice. The casino, the bar, the restaurant, the room all 2 to 3 out of 5 starts. Hotel staff rates a 5 out of 5 but that's not enough to bring us back for a stay. We will drive the extra hour and stay in Reno.
No elevator! I had to lug my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs to get to my room. The room was small, no desk or chair, but it was clean and the AC worked well and the bed was comfortable enough. It did have a coffee maker and a mini fridge. Overall not bad but would probably not stay again due to the lack of an elevator
Room was clean. When checking in, it appeared we were doing the staff a favor by coming to him to check in. No smile, not helpful. We got there at 3pm after driving 7 hours. The place was pretty empty. He told me the room wasn't ready until 4. No other words. I just said OK and turned around to my husband and said he was so NOT friendly, empathic, and had a frown on his face the entire time (Luna was on his name tag). I understand the room was not ready but at least pretend like you enjoy your job and want to help people.
Bartender at casino was super nice (his name may have been Kevin).
