Our 2 night stay at The Bell was enjoyable. Our room and the en-suite was clean, well presented and quite comfortable although the mattress was showing some signs that it will soon need to be replaced! Breakfasts were delicious, well cooked, generously portioned and a good quality. Our one evening meal was equally good and felt home cooked - far superior to the more usual Green King pub fare we’ve had. On both evenings the 2 real ales on offer were excellent – CAMRA take note! Andy, the landlord was most helpful and certainly went out of his way to ensure our stay went smoothly. Other staff and Ducklington village locals were friendly and welcoming. Guests should be aware of the total absence of any on-site car parking and street parking is not that easy to find in this village.

A fantastic few nights stay while we explored the local area. The room was functional and comfortable. what really made our stay stand out was the landlord and the locals, they were all super helpful and chatty. If you are happy with a no frills stay in a beautiful area i would highly recomend the Bell
