Being able to watch the sunset and see all the stars in the night sky were amazing. The farm tour was my favorite! Getting to see the animals and feed them was my highlight! "This place was a little slice of heaven!! Cute charming lil cabin and close to so many hiking trails and things to see and enjoy, especially for a nature enthusiast! Enjoyed exploring the area, and watching the birds from the front porch. The cows were an added bonus seeing the calves playing. If you walk the property take a stroll to the end of the drive and enjoy the little cemetery. We will definitely stay here again!! "

"My husband, fur babies, and I all love A Hasty Getaway. The cabin is always so welcoming and the host is so sweet and easy to work with! We were not able to make it for our scheduled weekend in January due to the weather and Laura graciously let us reschedule into February with no questions asked or worries. We’ve stayed here multiple times and look forward to our next trip. We love that our fur babies are welcomed and the fenced yard makes it so easy to have them there. "

"The cabin the perfect for our family of 6 and dog. Easy check in / out. We enjoyed the view from the porch, the fire ring, and proximity to great nearby hikes including Glory Hole, Big Creek Falls, and Alum Natural Bridge. Even on the rainy day, we were comfortable playing games and doing puzzles inside. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. "

"We’ve traveled to many places over the years, and this was one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well cared for. The wrap-around porch overlooking the Ozark Mountains was a highlight and made it easy to relax right away.We loved being able to cook our own meals—the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, well organized, and had everything we needed. The water was hot, everything was spotless, and the whole cabin felt comfortable and inviting. The game room upstairs was a wonderful space for our child, and the Pac-Man was a fun surprise. Evenings by the fireplace with the movie selection made it easy to slow down and enjoy time together.The drive in was part of the adventure and added to the charm of the stay. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub this visit, but that just gives us something to look forward to when we return. Thank you for the beautiful view and for making this such a special place to celebrate my birthday this week. We’re very grateful for our stay.We even left a small unopened container of ice cream in the freezer as a simple thank-you."
