"Would have rated this higher except that there were a couple of times that I smelled cigarette smoke near the entrance due to workers smoking right outside the front door (one time I saw the worker, the other time it seemed that way but I didn't see it, just could smell it by the breakfast area). Would suggest not allowing workers to smoke that close to the entrance. I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites and probably the main reason is due to how smoke-free they keep their hotels."

"Our first stay at one of your properties. There seemed to be a few things missing…a clock in the room, shower gel, and make up remover wipes. These are regularly included in other hotels where we’ve stayed. The breakfast was very good and Warren, the breakfast attendant, was very helpful and kept items well stocked and extremely clean. He makes a very good waffle too. Our room was very comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful."

"The headboard was old and flakying little pieces of vinyl in the sheets. One of the lights in the bathroom did not work properly. It had a short. There were several days worth of dust on the dining room rail. Not enough towels. Yeah, we had to use our towels a couple of days."

"This is a hotel that needs some updates. The drain in the bathtub was very slow. The faucet had to be in a perfect position or would drip. The carpet was well worn and the walls had ripped wallpaper and the woodwork was well worn. The hallway had a strange odor. Breakfast was not a typical Choice hotel breakfast. There were very few choices and like many hotels if you are diabetic your choices are almost nil. At least they recognize they are not a 5 star hotel. On the back of every hotel door is the max price the hotel is allowed to charge for that room. I think this is the first hotel who had a price lower than $100 listed. Overall the hotel felt safe and the bed was clean and I got some sleep."

"Everything was ok"

"This is the 3rd time we have used this hotel only due to its closeness to our location and price. They require a $100 deposit they dont tell you about until you check in. The first time our room was dirty, floors, sink and tub. 2nd time we had rather large roaches in the room. We were assured the previous issues had been rectified so gave them another chance. Upon check in to the room. There was an awful pee smell from the bathroom. When my fiancé went to investigate he discovered a yellow tinted towel behind the bathroom door in the corner that reeked. We doused it in water and soap to try to alleviate the smell and it was tolerable for a night. The tub was peeling, the bathroom sink had very odd water pressure and the heater/ac was missing its cover. We spent the night and left early the next day. But when I got my deposit back they had kept $25 for the cost of the 'pee covered towel'. I called to dispute and I was told that it was not there before we checked in when they checked the rooms. Absolutly rediculous. On top of that, there was someone sitting in a truck across from my room who just sat there and watched for about 3 hours before leaving making us feel very unsafe. I would not reccommend this hotel to my worst enemy and will not be giving them another chance. Spend the extra $10 in gas and drive a little further."
