Gorgeous location right by the Cam river. Ample parkland for children/young families within a very quick walk which is well seperated from the roadways. My stay was post holiday-period, so off-peak I guess. Due to this the onsite restaurant was only going to be open on weekend's.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The room was damp and dusty, no housekeeping on a multiple night stay, the cleanliness standard was very low and heating inadequate. The room did not meet nor match advertised expectations. Such a shame as the location is very pretty. Not at all worthy of pricing.

The way the staff were very accommodating, I had recently had another knee replacement and when I asked if I could have a room on the ground level they were very helpful in letting us have one. Friendly and helpful staff.

Could not fault staff, parking was a breeze, very clean and tidy room. Cosmetically needs an update and some general maintenance eg. Fan in bathroom was taped to window, poorly patched paint work on entey door with two different coloured paints
