Our penthouse retreat is the perfect base for a tranquil weekend break or a romantic holiday with a special someone. Spend your days enjoying the spacious rooftop terrace, soaking up the Mediterranean sun in the hot tub and dining al-fresco in the long summer evenings. Situated in a peaceful street just minutes away from the picturesque town square and bustling restaurants & bars, you'll be in the heart of a favourite getaway spot for locals!

From the moment you step inside our cosy studio, it welcomes you with an open-plan sleeping and living area, modern comforts throughout and a fully equipped kitchen giving that real "home away from home" feeling!

Our apartment is perfectly sized and equipped to accommodate a couple in complete comfort for any length of stay. There are is a queen-sized double bed which will comfortably sleep 2 adults and a baby cot/crib can be provided upon request.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals including full oven & gas stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, Dolce Gusto coffee maker and all the essential cooking utensils. The entire apartment is equipped with dual air-conditioning (cool or heat) so you can be sure of a good nights sleep in any weather. The living area features a dining table & chairs, SMART TV (with Netflix/Disney+) and plenty of storage/hanging space. Fast WiFi is available in all areas of the apartment and terrace, you can also connect laptops or IPTV boxes to the TV via HDMI cable. A washing machine and clothes drying lines are also available.

In the outdoor areas, guests will have private use of all the following features and equipment:

You will have completely private use of this penthouse studio and all of its outdoor areas. You will NOT share any parts of the house, jacuzzi or outdoor spaces with anyone outside your group. The property is accessed from a private entrance in a quiet street.

Our apartment is situated on a quiet street in the picturesque Gozo town of Xaghra, steeped in history and set among traditional houses and real locals. It's just an 8-minute walk to the bustling town square where you can find numerous cafes, restaurants & bars teeming with energy and life. All the essential amenities such as supermarkets, a pharmacy, ATM and public transport can be found around the square. The world-famous red sandy beaches of Ramla bay can be reached with a short 7-minute drive or by taking the frequent direct buses from the nearby bus stop. Enjoy a unique mix of sunny Mediterranean tranquillity and bustling village life. The renowned neolithic temples of Ġgantija can be reached with a relaxed 15-minute stroll through the old streets.

Public transport in Gozo is an economical and efficient way of getting around, almost all areas of the island are accessible by bus. The nearest bus stop from the house is called "Lukin" which is served regularly by the 307 bus to/from the capital Victoria. There is also a direct bus to Ramla Bay (beach) from the bus stop "Xaghra" which can be reached in an 8-minute walk. You can also catch the big red "Hop On - Hop Off" buses from the dedicated stop outside the Ġgantija temples which are a 15-minute walk from the apartment. There is no private parking garage on the property but there is usually plenty of free street parking available right outside, so parking a hire car should never be a problem.

Please note that the Government of Malta has increased the mandatory Environmental Contribution (Eco-Tourist Tax) for all stays starting on or after July 1, 2026.

New Rate: €1.50 per adult (18+) per night
New Cap: Maximum €22.50 per adult per stay

For bookings made prior to July 1, 2026, for stays occurring on or after this date, the system may not automatically apply the updated government rate at the time of booking. In such cases, any difference between the previous rate (€0.50) and the new legal rate (€1.50) must be settled separately before or upon arrival.

By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that the applicable tax is determined by the rate in effect during your stay, regardless of the booking date.
