Great value for money. I stayed really last minute for two nights. I didn’t expect much at all but was pleasantly surprised. The check in went by phone. It would have been easier if I’d gotten the explanation in the mail. But the person I spoke to was really helpful and did her best to help me through it all. Once in the room what I noticed was how well equipped it was. It was just a small one person room but had good coffee and tea facilities a free bottle of water, television set, and even a small fridge. The bathroom had a toilet and shower. It was clean but could use a little renovation. Everything was in working order and clean. There was also plenty of parking outside and you’re really in the centre of town. There was no noise from outside but the inside doors do close with a bit of a bang so you hear it when other people come and go. It was really hot when I arrived and so was the room. But there was a fan provided that worked well to cool me down. All in all if you’re looking for a place to stay that just offers a good basic experience I can recommend.

It was a nice stay. The lady on the phone was helpful and the porter was friendly. If you are driving there, I would get the post code to the Globe and Crown as its easier to find the warehouse car park from there

Quiet and comfortable, with an exceptional value f

Quiet and comfortable, with an exceptional value for money. Nice look and reasonable space. Hot drinks and snacks provided, plus fridge. Very close to town centre and easy to access / park. Only minor negative was a noisy hot water pipe, which only happened infrequently, otherwise an excellent time had by all.

This is a real find. Quaint and quirky. Just the right room for an overnight or short stay . Unusual building being over 500 years old and really close to the town centre. It was clean , comfortable and warm. Staff very helpful and friendly . Highly recommended

A good night stay, for a really good price

I appreciated the welcome call I received from the staff, guiding me to find the hotel, which was nice and easy. I did have to wait outside a little, as the instructions on how to enter aren’t quite that easy to understand, but only a couple of minutes and I was greeted. I was shown to my room, which was fine for one night. I slept really well, the room was nice and warm and the bed was fine. There was a nice hot shower and decent bathroom. The only reason for not scoring 5 stars, was due to the bathroom cup not seeming too have been washed, as it had some toothpaste at the bottom. For a cheap one night stay, it was perfect. You might wish to let taxi companies know you’re there, as they seemed to argue with me that you existed! The driver was insistent I was going to a neighbouring hotel!!

Ok room for one night. Mid October with 4 degree outside temperature but no heating on. No instructions on heating but seems to be centrally controlled. No thermostat in room. Towel rail switched on and radiator thermostat up to max but still no heating. Very cold. Did not sleep properly. Irritating green safety light in ceiling also kept me awake. .

Good night’s stay

Ideally located for a one night stay for me travelling into Weymouth. Easy enough to find -unique entrances that at first were a little confusing but met by a staff member who passed on codes and showed me to my room. Simple check out instructions. Comfortable night’s stay, relatively peaceful. Clean room with everything needed.
