"Our Stay at APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower – Tokyo, Japan
The rooms are definitely tiny, but I knew that when I booked. What I didn’t know was just how incredibly comfortable the beds would be! After all the walking we did every day, a good night’s sleep was all I cared about. The bed felt like sleeping on a big, fluffy cloud!
We didn’t purchase the breakfast option, but we decided to try it one morning. Honestly, we were disappointed. It was very expensive, and the food selection was limited, especially if you’re looking for American-style breakfast options. With so many great places to eat nearby, I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra money on the hotel breakfast.
One thing I really appreciated was having a laundry room right on the premises. Also, I have to give them credit for their toiletries! The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they provide are top-notch, so there’s really no need to pack your own.
I didn’t get to experience the onsen because we have tattoos, and unfortunately, there were no private onsen options available.
The location, however, was perfect! You’re just steps away from the train station, making it incredibly convenient to get around Tokyo.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely! And honestly, it would be for one simple reason: that bed! After long days of exploring Tokyo, having such a comfortable place to rest made all the difference.
My Tip: If you’re planning to stay here, PACK LIGHT! The rooms are very small, and there’s not much"
