The best choice

The hotel was absolutely lovely; it is aptly named as "Bliss". Our room had a lot of space with a living area, and large windows and a balcony with a lounge chair that overlooked the surrounding mountains (no lake view, but there is plenty viewing the lake during the day). The breakfast room enjoys the same amazing view, and breakfast had a lot of choices to satisfy all nationalities. The room had a wonderful shower, separate bath, and a baby-bed, chairs and bath were also available to us. There was also a separate playroom which our son enjoyed a lot. We were blown away by this hotel, which satisfied our every need. The owner Sophie was kind enough to provide daily pick ups for our family, tips for what to do and where to eat, and even arranged our laundry done for free (travelling with a 1-year old, this was very welcome!). It is within walking distance to the round-the-lake bus stop, and to one of the most beautiful temples in the area. It truly made our stay at Sun Moon Lake a real pleasure. I can recommend this hotel to anyone.

Perfect Stay

Beautiful large family room (with 3 beds) and building (my parents called it a "palace"). There's nothing to fault. The owner was very friendly and we felt just at home. Home-cooked Taiwanese breakfast was served. We drove, hence, did not have any issue with the location.

The hotel is good and safe. Staff is very kind.
