Do not book this place! We booked 2 apartments for our family of 5 adults for a 1 night stay. We also contacted the property and arranged transportation and let them know exactly when we’d arrive. I had to message them several times before I got an answer that our transportation was going to meet us. We got to the apartments and there was no one around to meet us, no instructions given by the property ahead of time or even posted anywhere. I called the listed number. the woman that answered was complaining that it was late but said she would try to contact the apartment owners to help us get checked in. Shortly after, an older couple came out and didn’t speak a lick of English. I used google translate, showed the paperwork to show we had 2 reservations. She opens the nearest apartment, points to 2 tiny twin sized beds then counts us & says “no fit.” I repeated several times we had 2 apartments booked. Finally showed her a picture that was advertised and she took us around back to a second apartment that had a king bed. That was our 2 apartments apparently. the one with the 2 tiny beds was the only thing offered to 3 of us when we clearly booked a place that could accommodate 3 adults. She told us to push the beds together so all 3 could sleep on it. I tried to call the company again and they never answered, ignoring us. Since it was midnight and no other option we stayed, one of us had to sleep on the floor. The place was joke. Run down. Had to hold the shower head to shower.

Sehr nette Vermieter, alles sehr sauber. Einziges Manko war, das man das Wasser aus dem Hahn nicht trinken konnte. Dafür hat sie aber immer Flaschen mit Trinkwasser hingestellt.

sehr süsse gastgeber kommunikation war zwar eher schwierig weil sie fast kein englisch sprechen aber dafüf sehr herzlich. und auch das appartement ist sehr schön sauber und herzlich sodass man sich gleich wohl gefühlt hat.

Appartamento in affitto decente, purtroppo i signori che gestiscono la struttura parlano poco inglese e c’è difficoltà a capirsi. Le pulizie vengono effettuate a metà del soggiorno con cambio asciugamani e lenzuola. Tutto sommato la struttura è carina, i servizi sono davvero essenziali. Insomma, buon rapporto qualità prezzo, si spende poco e si ha poco. La posizione è abbastanza comoda e relativamente vicina alla spiaggia.

We stayed at Roussa’s for a week. Hosts are very kind and nice. Place is clean, quiet and it’s very close to the beach and restaurants.

Nice cheap place with lovely owners

The studios that we had wasn’t renovated and at first look they seemed very old. The kindness of the owners passed this :) There are studios which are renovated and they are better maybe, but overall we are happy with our stay. The beach is 200 m but is not a magnificent one that’s why we took the car and went to other beaches on the island. There are few tavernas on a walking distance so you don’t need a car to go for a dinner. The Village is really nice and lively, from the beach you can see Marathonisi and Cameo island is on 10 min walk. Even the studios are old next time in Zakynthos we would book this property again. Bare in mind that the owners, Mama Roussa and his husband don’t speak a word of English :)
