"The Grand Suite is lovely and the staff responded quickly to communication. It was not exactly what I expected as the description shows “private pool” and “private hot tub”. There was no hot tub. The plunge pool was chilly (not a bad thing as it was very warm outside) but as it was located on the first floor, it was very visible from the windows of the surrounding housing units and from the windows of the upper level rooms. So, no skinny dipping or sunbathing as it’s maybe not public but it is also “not so private.” The room itself was very nice, the facilities were clean and the rainfall shower was great. Full kitchen with full-size fridge was nice as well could enjoy snacks and keep ice cream cold. The pool maintenance person can a couple times and made sure the pool stayed clean and leaf-free. We never saw the top level infinity pool as I saw in the pictures but to be fair, there were no indications of rooftop pool access or anything but it may have been labeled somewhere in Spanish that perhaps we missed. Xambé had a condo feel as opposed to a resort hotel. We didn’t see many staff but the few we did encounter were polite and we had no issues. Our electricity suddenly went out one night (fuse blew) and was restored within 10 minutes when we informed the young man at the front desk. Definitely glad we had a rental car, it’s a short drive from all the restaurants and shops. It was a very quiet and peaceful location too, very pleasant. Would recommend."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Unique and Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Tulum! I had a wonderful stay at Calea Tulum Boutique Hotel. It’s a very unique boutique hotel with a peaceful, calming atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooftop swimming pool was a fantastic bonus, offering a great place to enjoy the surroundings and soak up the atmosphere. Having breakfast included also made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient. The rooms were very clean, well-organised and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Another standout feature was the gated entrance, which immediately gave me a greater sense of security and peace of mind throughout my stay. I would highly recommend Calea Tulum to solo travellers, couples and families looking for a comfortable, relaxing and welcoming place to stay in Tulum. You can really feel the personal touch that comes from a family-run business, and it makes the experience that much more special. Thank you to the Familia Calea team for a lovely stay. I would happily return and look forward to seeing the new wellness facilities when they open! Highly recommended — a hidden gem in Tulum! 🌴☀️🏊♂️"

"Awesome staff and location for a more localized experience walking distance to the center of town. Plenty of restaurants within the vicinity. Excursions and bikes available for purchase/rent. Bar and restaurant located here with pool. Bartenders were great - all 3 that I met - Jorge, Brian and another I can’t remember his name."

"Un hotel muy bonito, pero con detalles por mejorar. El hotel es muy bonito, agradable y cuenta con un ambiente acogedor. En general, tuvimos una buena experiencia y el personal fue amable durante nuestra estadía. Sin embargo, considero que el desayuno tiene varios aspectos por mejorar. Me sorprendió que faltaran cosas tan básicas como la mantequilla (butter), además de que había poca variedad en la preparación de los huevos y en las opciones disponibles. Creo que un hotel tan bonito debería ofrecer un desayuno más completo, variado y cuidado en los pequeños detalles, ya que estos marcan la diferencia en la experiencia de los huéspedes. En general, fue una buena estadía, pero definitivamente hay oportunidades de mejora, especialmente en el servicio de desayuno."

"They do not have a pool .. It's only a soaking tub on top floor!! Extremely disappointing for me as I wanted to swim in a pool the entire vacation.. Also, you can't do laundry yourself.. Which I don't like!! The housekeeper's can but the fee is 25 U.S. Stuff was extremely friendly.. Be aware you can't swim in the ocean do to sargassum it smells and it is everywhere, Tulum and Cancun... Tulum is very expensive also.."
Casa Luna del Sol - Stunning Family Friendly Mayan Penthouse

"We had a wonderful time! The condo was clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook if you wanted. The top level has the plunge pool, grill, a fire table ( we had s’mores one night) , several loungers and it even has a sink ! We really enjoyed it up there.There is also a hammock on the patio right off the living room.They had TV’s in each room, we didn’t even turn them on, there is a nice speaker we used for music. We were really close to restaurants and stores. We liked the Soriana(misspelled) for groceries and my granddaughter liked Aldo’s for ice creamWe enjoyed Casa Sofia restaurant, their pasta dishes were delicious. There is a nice pool and we had it to ourselves. The beach areas were not good, there was a lot of sargassum. We went to Bahía Príncipe and Akumal and got day passes, it was 45 a day! It includes food and drinks, they have big pools and all kinds of activities. We went to Gran Cenote , it is not far from the condo, it was awesome. We enjoyed are visit and the condo, it is a good place to stay"

"Everyone was so pleasant! The breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt and some additional items were delicious. I enjoyed the social hour and took the opportunity to talk to a couple of people. Jose and another concierge made perfect recommendations for excursions."
