Serves as a good base as excellent location - staff all incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s pod style room- and all digital so room operates via an iPad (very amusing to plunge mum into darkness whilst in the bathroom!!) was cosy for 2 - but fine as we had only a few hours in the room each day. More than 2 nights would have been a challenge. Has everything you need at a basic level

Modern look, helpful staff, good breakfast and food service but room was ver poorly done. Bed placement makes it difficult for the 2nd person to go the far end of the bed and for getting out. Bathroom is very tiny, not easy to maneuver in and out, very uncomfortable.

Staff were always kind and helpful, which was the best part. It must be reasonable its room is such small where a bed is occupied exactly from the wall to the other side’s, given its relatively lower price. However, we would say bed making was terrible. The room between mattress and the frame was not clean with hairs and rubbishes. Cleanliness around a bed is all about sound sleeping.

This is a gem, located in the old town, Zürich. You can walk anywhere from here, including the lake. The hotel lobby is fantastic with a 24 hour coffee bar. Rooms are immaculate- The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in… Really cool "smart room" using an iPad. You can control the blackout drapes and the lights. For the money this is a no-brainer. Right off the Bahnhoffstrasse - Main Street.

Adorable hotel in Zurich. Close to trams and walking distance from the train station Rooms were very clean, and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was worth the extra penny…so fresh and delicious. Only negative thing was the club music that lasted for hours. Other than that, I would stay here again.

Just not my kind of hotel. Room is cramped. Decor was like a spaceship. Shower and toilet cramped and made of glass. Frosted but little privacy. Bed up against the wall so one person has to climb over the other to get out. Property was clean but really relaxing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights at CitizenM. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is prime to the city center and Old Town. I didn’t need to take public transportation unless I was leaving Zurich city, which also makes it very accessible to travel locally to towns with it being so close to the train station - Zurich HB. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where most functions were operated using an iPad. The coolest feature - being able to change the lights to various colors. I appreciated the black-out curtains after an exhausting day. You’ll know what I mean if you book! Let’s not forget how comfortable the mattress was! I highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to Zurich! 10/10
