The reception and staff at breakfast have been very welcoming and showed great hospitality to my group consisting of two couples throughout our 2-night stay here. Our rooms were comfortable. The hotel location was walking distance to the lake as well as to all the major sightseeing points of interest in Zurich’s old town. The hotel was also close to tram lines making it a convenient to go to Zurich HB, Zurich’s main train station etc.

It’s an old hotel, but it’s clean and comfortable. Rooms are very big. It’s closed to everything and the staff is very helpful. Breakfast is ok.

A basic hotel that feels a little like being in a University residence than a hotel. Nothing wrong with it, but it's not cheap either. No bar, or food available. Breakfast was nice. Good location. The staff were friendly and polite too. But the room and its amenities are very basic.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Zurich and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is fantastic—it is incredibly convenient and close to everything, including the bus station, local restaurants, and major attractions. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the entire staff was wonderful, friendly, and very accommodating throughout my stay. However, I noticed two main issues that the hotel should address: 1. Bathroom Amenities: The shower gel is still supplied in tiny, single-use plastic bottles instead of the modern large wall pumps found in most hotels today. These little bottles make it difficult to get enough product, require housekeeping to restock them every single day, and create unnecessary plastic waste when trying to keep things clean and eco-friendly. Switching to refillable pumps would be a huge improvement. 2. Wi-Fi Issues: The internet completely failed during my last three days at the hotel. What made it frustrating was that the management and front desk staff had no idea why it happened or when it would be fixed. Reliable internet is essential, and the staff should be kept informed so they can update guests properly. Despite these minor setbacks, the great location and wonderful team still make this a highly recommendable place to stay in Zurich. I hope management takes this constructive feedback to heart!

This property sits in an excellent location which is close to the river, the river cruise station, the restaurant and the famous shopping street. A number of bus stops are also within walking distances. We got a junior suite and the room is spacious. I especially like the way that the toilet is separated from the main bathroom where the shower and the jacuzzi are. Yes, the suite has a very nice jacuzzi! If I have to complain, the TV reception appeared to have some issues since we tried to watch the World Cup and couldn’t really see clear pictures. Also, the door handle to the toilet was broken. Overall, great experience staying in this hotel!
