"The room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. WiFi and TV were great. Pet friendly was a major plus. 2 negatives: the refrigerator was leaking water (we reported to the staff and they gave us some points to use on another booking; the conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty."

Shelby is a wonderful area to visit. Lots of shopping here. Beautiful area. Great weather here in February. Super 8 was just not clean, and very sketchy.

The ymca here in shelby is definitely one of the best YMCA's that i have been to. Friendly staff that make you feel right at home and overall they changed my experience in Shelby for the better

Shelby is a nice quiet place to visit if you're going to relax I recommend staying at American Inn. They offered a free breakfast indoor pool Jacuzzi. It was nice and warm inside the pool area. The rooms is comfortable the bedding the staff was nice

I was here to visit family. Not much entertainment to choose from but a nice quiet city.
"Was not pleased we couldn’t check into our room until 4:25. Check in time is 3. This made us 15 minutes late for receiving of friends for our loved one. We were immediate family. Very poor service trying to get a room ready for us. Was told they were full and no clean rooms. For 1 hour and 25 minutes??? Not Acceptable! "
"Lady at the front desk was so nice. She was a pleasure to talk to. Said I reminded her for her PE teacher. I assume he was a good-looking man lol. Good location and we enjoyed the pool. "
