"Beautiful hotel. The staff is the best part. The barefoot concept is great. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is the one. The ocean is not very accessible as it is mainly coral so keep that in mind when booking- you will most likely be 99% in the pool not the ocean."

"We hebben een geweldige ervaring gehad! Manager Jamil heeft er werkelijk alles aan gedaan om met ons mee te denken en het ons naar de zin te maken. Hij heeft ons geholpen bij het organiseren van een safari-activiteit en zelfs gezorgd voor een verjaardagstaart voor de verjaardag van mijn vrouw. Zijn vriendelijkheid en persoonlijke aandacht maakten ons verblijf extra speciaal. Zeker een aanrader!"

"We had a very nice stay at Ellavita Cottages. The room was cozy and Tina and Khalifa are very nice hosts. They are always there when you have a problem and can help you with everything. They also know the place well so any question concerning activites can be answered. The breakfast is also delicious.
Would definitely recommend and come back if we would go to Nungwi again.

"Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "
"Lovely place to stay. Food was ok. Room very spacious and beautifully decorated. Massage was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the manager was a bit of an opportunist and will try get extra $$ when he gets a chance.
