"Solo ski trip first week in March. Hotel Jägerheim is an outstanding choice! Staff, comfortable room, food, and strategic location for skiing all exceeded my expectations. Opting for half board is a solid choice: the food is innovative, diverse, and locally focused. Outstanding. In practice, I chose to opt in for 4 out of 7 days since I also wanted to check out the outstanding food scene for leisurely lunch on the mountains (thus skipping the evening meal). Also amazing: the close coordination with local vendors recommended by the hotel: taxi, ski guide / instructor, ski rental. Dolomiti ski pass is delivered to your home (optional). Rental skis are picked up at the and of your stay. Spa facility is much nicer than expected. Spa services with Gloria are first rate. Again, follow the hotel's advice for best experience. I now live in Europe and travel a lot internationally. After a trip, I always ask myself whether it was worth it and whether I would do it again. In this case, absolutely! Highly recommended. "

"My girlfriend and I stayed in the hotel for a week in January 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel has great amenities (indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna, restaurant, bar, indoor/outdoor parking, ski room) and fantastic staff! The hotel is conveniently located in Val Gardena with easy access by car, shuttle and bus to local ski slopes! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The hotel staff is superb! Very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Portillo Dolomites 1966'."
