The Old Town in particular is a really nice place to visit and walk around. The Eurovea shopping mall was great for shopping and some nice restaurants outside looking over the Danube. We ate at Primi, an Italian restaurant which was very nice.

Clean, beautiful historical city. The historical district is lovely to walk around in. There are many excellent bakeries all around the area and ice cream shops for a snack. Check out the restaurants for dinner on the patios outside.

Bratislava has changed so much over the last 10-15 years! The town centre has been renovated with lots of fantastic cafés. The Castle area is beautiful and I loved the relaxing Danube bank near Eurovea.

Bratislava old town was lovely. View from castle and UFO amazing. Lovely little local restaurants off the main squares down the side streets. Christmas markets were very good and atmospheric.

Lovely smaller city. Old town can get busy, so go early in day or later after group tours are gone. Take the bus to Devin Castle too (only 1.1 euros each way and half than if over 62).
