"Extremely loud outside environment. The train changes engines and couples/uncouples loudly all night. The bar is super loud and the club has a line to get in on Saturday nights that is loud until at least 2am. Then no hot water on last day of my stay. "

"It was for pleasure. The room was clean the bed was good. The price point and location were excellent. I could not see the bay from my room and did not use the pool. "

"It was 15 mins from the airport. Very convenient to go to Pacific Beach, and La Jolla part of town. The rooms were nice comfortable mattresses and clean. I wish this hotel served coffee in the morning, considering it is a boutique hotel or hot cookies in the evening. I would stay here again."

"Very disappointed with this stay. While the location is central to downtown SD, that was really the only upside of the stay. The room, on face value, looks okay. However, the AC did nothing to keep the room cool. It was difficult to sleep due to the temp in the room. Moreover, there were several cockroaches in the room #405. The shower is missing a door so all the water just spills out onto the floor. I wasn’t expecting much, but this was disappointing to say the least. "

"Staff was friendly and our room was comfortable but what made the experience terrible was upon trying to use one of the elevators on our floor, the door almost shut on my partner as they were going in to the elevator. We stepped back and again the elevator door almost closed while I was about to go in. We let someone at the front desk know about it but my companion now has a big bruise on her forearm from where the elevator door hit her. That incident unfortunately will not be having us come back in the foreseeable future."
