"Overall our stay was “ok”. The location is really the only thing warranting the amount that it cost per night. We were in town for the San Diego fair which this hotel was very close to. However, the bed wasn’t comfortable, the pillows had zero support and there were hairs in the shower. The AC worked well but did have a “stale water” smell and the view was just a dirt lot and partial parking lot. (If you want better views, I’d request a room that ends in an even number as most of the odd numbers had the dirt lot view). Parking was easy but considering there are renovations happening, not all spots are available and it seems there could be a possibility of it being full at night despite being $16 a night. It wasn’t a horrible stay but I likely wouldn’t stay again."

"Winners circle clearly exceeded my expectations; I expected an average hotel room, instead I got a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, semi-private patio, full kitchen, fully stocked with cookware, dishes etc. Although my stay was short, I noticed the pool area which was very nice, large and had lifts so anyone in a wheelchair could used the pool or hot tub. IMO, they covered all the bases. Its right across the street from the Del Mar fairgrounds/race track and an epic seafood restaurant right next door. Anytime I'm in North County this would be my first and only choice of accommodations....AND, it's a 5 minute drive to Fletcher Cove Beach. I stayed on June 21 and rates were extremely reasonable."

"We loved our stay in Solana Beach. The property was perfect for our family. The location near Fletcher’s Cove was great Beach access. Our only complaint was the ants that we could not seem to get rid of; which we understand is an issue for beach locations. We bought some storage containers for our food and the host brought over additional traps, so we made it work. The beds were good, the amenities and thoughtfulness of the hosts/owners were the best of any VRBO we’ve stayed at, from spices, towels, beach supplies, etc. We would stay here again."

"House is very cute. We brought our chocolate lab and was able to walk to the Del Mar Dog Beach every day. The house has a very nice fenced in backyard and it was big enough to throw the ball for her. Kitchen is nice and had everything we needed. We watched movies every night. We were able to sign in to all our streaming services."

"We have stayed 3 times in this general area of Solana Beach and this location has the best and easiest access to the beach and a great viewing area for the beautiful sunsets. Kim the host was very quick to respond to any questions. The place was exactly as described in the listing. The bedrooms are a fair size, the master bath is a bit cramped but fine, linens, towels, soaps are all provided, the kitchen has lots of plates, dishes, cups and appliances. We did notice whoever does the cleaning between renters needs to do a better job, there was some dust and lots of human hair all around the bathroom sink and tubs which were easily washed away. I also borrowed some cooking utensils to use for our stay from our daughter since the ones there were a bit old and the plastic spatula was melted. Again, this is not a big deal for us. Parking for our car was just around the corner from the front door, we were able to see the car from the dining room. Being right next to the pool was a little noisy but that was no big deal. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the pool on one of the main streets in the complex. There was a bit of car/truck noise in the morning from the garbage truck making its rounds and the construction vehicles that would pull in to do the work on the buildings roofs. There was a lot of construction going on and scaffolding all around some of the buildings and it would have been nice to have known about it. Overall, a great place to stay and we would do so again."
