"As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements. The communal rooms are comfortable, the bedrooms all have a theme, I was in the pretty bird room. Excellent breakfast and there's a great pub 3 miles down the road, The Nag's Head, for dinner. "Excellent stay. Trevor met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The hut was super cosy and amazingly clean. We had everything we needed for an offthe beaten track stay. Trevor even booked a table at a local pub and arranged a bottle of fizz for us at my request for my other halfs birthday. The surroundings and views were beautiful and there were great walks in the area too. We felt very secluded and private."
