White Horse Inn Clun

White Horse Inn Clun

8/10 Good
"Lovely b&b would definitely stay again! Food absolutely delicious in the pub and for breakfast (using locally tour ed ingredients) and great choice of both food and drinks. Super friendly staff, make you feel very welcome and they’re really helpful! Rooms comfortable and the air con in bedroom was a huge plus! My Bathroom (room 2) had a huge bath tub and a shower with great water pressure and temperature. WiFi free and excellent throughout the building. My only very small issue was that the walls are thin to the corridors and you can hear guests walking to their rooms but to combat that the hotel provide ear plugs for each guest which was very helpful! Cannot hear anything from the pub itself though. Plus it’s not a huge place so not loads of guests passing so not a big deal but I always like to put pros and cons for balance if there are both. I otherwise slept well, bed was comfy! There is a beer garden to the rear of the pub which is lovely. No specific parking but ample community parking with no issues and no payment required. I’d definitely return without hesitation!"

"Such a lovely cottage. Stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a concert at Ludlow Castle (which was fabulous!!) The cottage is a real home from home ……everything you could want and more!!! The little courtyard at the back was a lovely spot to enjoy a morning cup of tea, and the conservatory a great space for an evening nightcap!!!! The Station Inn (literally across the road) is a fantastic pub/restaurant well worth a visit…..especially on a Friday night when it’s steak night and there is a butcher there and you he physically cuts your chosen steak in front of you.All in all, a great weekend, will definitely book again and highly recommend "

East Cottage, CHURCH STRETTON

East Cottage, CHURCH STRETTON

10/10 Excellent
"A great house, in a smashing location for walking the Shropshire hills . The house was clean and comfortable and met all our needs for a week’s stay. The kitchen was well equipped as we prefer to prepare our own meals. Only 1 drawback forMe was I’d would’ve preferred a softer pillow, but that is my preference not criticism . We arrived by train so no parking issues but it does have a large drive . I would’ve liked to see a larger television."
