"We never saw another person at this Inn, not a guest, nor a proprietor. We were the only people there, which was a little weird. Because it was during in the eclipse and an hour from totality. All communication was email and text. Oh, one phone call. I don’t know what it’s like at the height of the summer/boating season. But I’d like to return in the fall. "This is no longer the OYO. It’s American Inn as of August 1st. So I had to pay AGAIN for my stay because I booked in July. I’m waiting for OYO to refund me my payment but as of right now I’m out almost $600 on a 4 night stay. This should have been communicated to me so I could have had the time to cancel my booking and find somewhere else to stay. Obviously they haven’t told Hotels.com that this change has been made. "
