"Good place to stay with nice restaurant"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Jacobite House. Our room was very clean, quiet and had all of the amenities we needed. The staff were also very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. Additionally, house is located in a very central location, which is easy to walk to everything. My only comment would be that the bed was a little hard for our taste and it is a hike up some steep stairs with your suitcases if that is difficult for you. Overall though I would definitely...

It took a while, but we eventually found it. Apparently there's a kitchen on site, but we only found one in the hostel across the street? Had a hard time finding the switch to turn on the hot water, I tried messaging the property, but it was late and I never got a response. The switch was pretty big by the showers, I probably missed it since...

"We were made welcome. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of parking. Although we were not offered any meals at the hotel, the town offers places to eat. The hotel appears to be under new management who are keen to make it a success. From the outside, the hotel is in need of some TLC and we found this off-putting at first. The entrance area was also rather dated. Overall, we were happy with this hotel. "

"Pretty disappointed overall with my stay. Had there been other options when booking last minute I wouldn't have booked. The room had long black hairs all over the floor and bed when I arrived. The sheet was very thin with dirt on it. Issues that had to be fixed like the window getting stuck and the shower tap being stuck on scalding hot.
