"This is an older hotel, we were being assigned a small room on the level of the Attic. Nothing to rave about the room but it's clean. Staff is excellent, and the food in their restaurant is very good. "

"This hostel has a beautiful view and is right on the lake. But the WiFi situation is terrible! No WiFi in the rooms and poor signal in the common area. The property is also right next to the train tracks, and the train goes by often and way into the night. There’s also one restaurant close by that I could find, so very few places to eat/shop/etc. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want to sit on the lake and relax, unplugged. "The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice casual dinner in the downstairs restaurant and a quiet stay in the hotel. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. Boltigen is a quiet little town (in May anyway, when we were there) and we were serenaded by cowbells while we waited for the train the next morning."
