Perfect place to stay. Helpful owners/staff.

We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.

This was an amazing place, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was amazing. The only thing was that the breakfast was nothing fancy. Other than that, 10/10.

Enjoyed a lot my stay at this hotel. It was so clean and comfortable. I have been traveling with my two friends, everyone had her bed and we had a big kitchen to spend time together. It was spacious, with laundry downstairs and drying machine, free parking. I would choose the same hotel during my next trip to Basel. Highly recommend.

Lovely remote chalet that is still ideally situated in the black forest to visit, with a short drive, the clock makers and glass blowers and triburg falls. Owners are very friendly, the food is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable.

Was a great stay. We had booked 2 “family” rooms that could hold 3-4 people as there were 7 of us. Something happened and they only had rooms that could hold 2 people. Since there were 7 of us, they gave us 4 rooms and free breakfast as a consolation. Very nice staff.

Room was clean and in order. Location is accesible to public transpiration . Kitchen was ok but there’s a pungent smell when I opened the dishwasher . There’s only 1 small garbage can in the toilet, I wish there was another in main room . The main door can be opened even without entering a code to open, I found this unsafe because anyone can gain access inside the property.
