This is one of the best restaurants/hotel in Todmoos. Rooms are large very clean, and up-to date. The owners 2 sisters and .one of the sister's husband are keeping the business running. The food is excellent and very cost effective compared to most restaurants in the area. They serve one of the best pizzas I found in Europe or in the USA.

Breakfast was superior with vegan options

The staff were very friendly and down to earth. Would recommend this hotel highly for price, comfort and friendliness!

The hotel was very quiet and the room was spacious and looked like the pictures. The breakfast was hearty and fresh.

We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. This was an amazing place, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was amazing. The only thing was that the breakfast was nothing fancy. Other than that, 10/10.

It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. There's a nice park just up the hill, great for early morning or late night walkies. Very convenient to a grocery store, an atm, and right across the street from the tourist information center!
