The Best 2 Star Hotels in Birdsville

The Big Red is the last and tallest sand dune that we had to cross on our way from Alice Springs to Birdsville.

The Big Red is located about 35 km from Birdsville. It's one of the sand dunes that has the least vegetation. Sunrise and sunset is particularly beautyful.

We have crossed the Simpson Desert from Alice Springs to Birdsville. It's a long way through the Outback and we had to cross more than 1'000 sanddunes.
