"Frances is such a brilliant host. I arrived to tea and freshly baked scones and a lovely chat after my 3 hour drive from Loch Ness. The shared kitchen/lounge has plenty of room for guests and my room was large and spotlessly clean. Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). "Made the mistake of booking this through Expedia, which sources the ratings from other sites. It was listed as a 7.2, and the photos are beautiful. BE WARNED ... the photos are polished and from long ago. All of the furniture is flimsy and damaged/stained/rough shape from IKEA and NOT CLEANED. From piles of dust on the headboards and black mold in the shower, to dirty dishes and stains on EVERYTHING.
