"Close to shops and even closer to places to eat. About a 15 minute walk to the very touristy part of Palma. If you have rented a car, you will have an incredibly hard time parking anywhere, but especially near this hotel. If you're walking/biking, this is a good place to be. Very, very clean. Nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you're staying in Palma and not driving. "

"Property is in a good place and has a nice sized pool. Easy access to the beach and has a lift. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Couldn't really moan about the place itself. The only moan I would mention is that some of the people staying in the apartment where not considerate and would be shouting and banging all night. "When you arriv you cant collect your keys from Forenna but a hotel around the corner which is fine as its close by but when we arrived back at Forenna there were two people sat on the outside step at midday both hungover and being sick! Which lead to a Spanish man shouting at them on the street to leave immediately. Overall inside was clean and the beds were really comfortable. It was however very noisy with people coming in all times of the night and waking everyone up as the walls are paper...

"I am from Mallorca but live in London, I wanted to go home and visit family and friends but not stay in a massive hotel packed with tourists. Hostal amistad was perfect, it felt like an old school Formentera type of hotel. Was super well located, quiet even though its 4 mins form the beach and the hustle and bustle of the main boulevard. And the staff are great, very friendly yet minding their own business. Great buffet breakfast included too. Highly recommend. "

"Booked to take my two boys on a mini break on my own for the first time, was close to the airport, and shops and bars on the front, had a lovely but small pool area, but there was always beds and the kids loved it - could see all the pool at all times so also gave me chance to relax on the bed whilst watching them both. "This hotel is on the boardwalk on the beach. It's in walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Staff was helpful and friendly. There is no taxi stop around so the hotel was able to call us a taxi to get to our tour meeting place. You would need a taxi to get to the main shopping center of Mallorca. This is a largely German populated tourist destination."

"Very well located for many good restaurants in a few minutes walk. Friendly welcome by fluent English speaking staff. The roof terrace was a plus and a good place for a drink before heading out for the night. Breakfast the usual cold meats/ cheeses/ fruit/yoghurt/coffee machine affair if you've stayed in any hotel you know the drill. Altogether excellent value. "
