"This cottage is right on the edge of a beautiful lake and is easily accessible to Damariscotta. We visited in mid-October when there was little activity on the lake and it was very quiet. The state and comfort of the house was a mix. Bathrooms and the bedrooms were clean. There were plenty of bath towels/face cloths etc. The upstairs bed was very comfortable and one has a sense of being perched right over the lake from this charming room. "

"This beach house is on a secluded property in the middle of a magical forest that leads to a beautiful waterfront with rocks from which you can enjoy the sunsets. It is super quiet and green, so if it is relaxation you are looking for it’s the perfect place. The property has 3 decently sized bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms and then another bedroom and bathroom downstairs and they even provided us with a crib for our baby. The place is a 20 minute drive from Rockland (a charming coastal town)...
