It was unfortunate that my room was behind reception and next to dining room so more noise than I’d have preferred but it was a single room which I’m guessing are limited. Very clean, bed comfortable, tea & coffee in room, nice breakfast and friendly service throughout. Would definitely stay again. "

"The rooms where beautiful. Upon arrival we got told they had upgraded our room. The room was amazing the staff where all friendly, We had the full english the next morning and this is a must its lovely! Overall fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! "

"We originally had a deluxe double however on check in realised it didn't have a shower, was a bit misleading on the hotel pages as it says 'bath or shower' so could have been a bit clearer. However we spoke to the staff and they swapped our room so it turned out fine :) The hotel is in a lovely location, very short walk to the centre so nice and peaceful"

Unfortunately heavy rain the night we stayed led to some leaks in property and bubbling drains in early hours of morning which hopefully can be fixed soon. "I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. There were a couple of bottles of water in the room and some discount vouchers, all of which were an unexpected bonus. The kitchenette was handy if you wanted to make a drink...

"Comfortable and accessible accommodation with everything you need for great stay. 15 minutes from York and 10 from Selby it is close to amenities but far enough away to be quite. Great hosrs5sho greeted us in arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to returning in the future."
