"We loved this place and may rent again. Our complaints are minor but also eaisly fixable. First, we wrote to ask if there were beach chairs and boogie boards and got the response they didn't. Then we got there and there was a storage unit filled with beach stuff! Seems like the managing co could have found that out, or asked the owner when we inquired. "The house is located in the beautiful Emerald Isle Beach. We realize that everyone is getting back to work and jobs after the Pandemic and there are I am sure staff shortages, however, the cleanliness was noticeably lacking. The dishwasher was broken and lock on sliding door broken. Sun and Surf was easily reachable and quick to respond . Staff was friendly and helpful since we talked to maintenance several times. "The photos and description did not do justice for Hot Mess. We were closer to the beach than I thought and had wonderful views. The house, kitchen, beds and pool were all designed nicely and very comfortable. It made us feel at home. Loved that we had two decks (one with easy access for the dogs) and an elevator. The elevator made this trip possible for my mom and our senior dogs!"
