"My daughter and I came down for my son’s wedding reception. The room was very nice, but no coffee pot. We have stayed before and were really surprised as to the price hike then we found out it was due to some maintenance repair for a company near by. If we wanted to travel miles away we could’ve gotten one cheaper, but didn’t want to do that. We actually booked months in advance my other daughter was here she got hers for 98 and I went on immediately after her and they were double."

"Check in was smooth, the staff was very helpful and added the "points" number to my account. The hair dryer in the room did not work and they brought a new one down within five minutes. The pool area was very clean. There is no hot tub. The room was dated but clean and beds were soft. The faucet on the sink was loose and wobbled when you turned it on or tried to change the temperature but everything else (except the hairdryer) worked fine. "We loved our stay at the Rustic Retreat! The property is even more beautiful in person – a perfect place for stargazing and enjoying the sounds of nature. The cabin is spacious and clean. The clawfoot tub shower looks lovely but is a bit precarious to get in and out of, as it’s very elevated off the ground and quite slippery when wet. Take extra care! Overall, we would absolutely come back and recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway."
