"Our stay was great, although the "free breakfast" was sorely lacking. They had a waffle iron, but it was covered up. This may be because it was "low season" but rates were a little high for what you get. Customers have expectations that "free breakfast" means an assortment of breakfast items such as eggs or hot items like oatmeal. Granted there was cold cereal, bagels & toast, and apples, nothing else provided. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay with ocean view, as well as the historical sites. Sam was very friendly and upgraded our room for no extra charge; we greatly appreciated that!"

"I recently stayed at Washington Park motel, unexpectedly. I figured it was going to be another unkept motel... Was I ever wrong. This place is a diamond in the rough. The staff (Kristen & Mark were very accomidating and pleasant easy going people.. My room was clean comfartable and had everything I needed. I will definitely be returning for a pleasant stay."
