"For my situation, this was a very good hotel. I had a transit pass in Amsterdam already, so I didn't mind traveling out of the center for a hotel. I would say it was good quality for the money. It is a bit of a walk from the tram stop to the hotel (about 10-15 minutes). The area looks a bit sketchy, but I literally walked the neighborhood around at 3:00 in the morning and saw nothing noteworthy. I would say its perfectly safe. "As a first hostel experience, this was the place to do it. The property was very clean, everyone was very respectful of people sleeping off jetlag, and the bathrooms and showers are easily accessible to people on your floor. There is a nice lounge area downstairs and breakfast was included and worth the money."

"It was a great stay the room was clean, can control the radiator to ur own personal heat. We got a room with a huge window also that looked out onto the canal which I personally loved and the shower was fabulous. I’d recommend bringing your own hairdryer though as the one we have in the rooms are a bit weak for thick hair. Our television worked but it had no signal but we weren’t too pushed on that as we only went back to the room to sleep really. Overall was a pretty comfortable stay the room...
