"I would definitely stay here again. The room was nice, clean and had a great amount of space. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were nice selections for breakfast. Parking was plentiful And the price was great."

"After reading mixed reviews, I was happy to stay in the Manzanita building in a standard king bed room. The bed was comfortable, there was a mini fridge and bath products in the bathroom. The only thing missing is a coffee maker. It was very clean, comfortable, had large windows and I could hear the ocean. I would definitely stay again, but would bring my mini coffee pot."

"The location it's an old Howard Johnson. The staff did everything we asked and supplied us with very nice take-out breakfast. It's conveniently located. I would recommend this hotel to people who aren't looking for a fancy place but conveniently located. It's not far from the airport at Monterey Bay, City of Carmel, 17 miles, etc."

Not sure what they were, but there was one outside on the balcony and it sounded like someone was dragging their luggage all night long.
