"I'm eating this five stars, but I do have some specific caveats that won't mean much to many people. The hotel is excellent. It's located between the train station and road where many buses stop, and much of the city of Toulon is walkable from here.
My main caveat was about the WiFi. It's fast but restricted in some very specific ways, and a little unreliable in poor weather too. For most people this'll be fine, it's good enough to mitigate the dent in your roaming data. But I found myself...

"Hôtel pour une nuit avant de prendre le ferry, situation très pratique proche du port et restaurants à côté.
L'accueil était fermé quand nous sommes arrivés mais enregistrement sur écran tactile à l'entrée très pratique, personnel du matin très sympa.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la literie."
