"This was my 3rd brief stay.Each time,I have been welcomed & made to feel my visit matters to reception & waiting & bar staff. The room is chosen to protect me from the live music in the bar ,as I have requested .The rooms are very clean even if the carpet is a bit well -trodden.As a woman on my own, I have felt comforted by the friendly & helpful attitudes of everyone i have come across during my stays. "The house is aiming to be "luxury" but the quality is very basic. Doors were broken, mould in some corners, the "welcome basket" they had mentioned several times only contained the very minimal such as a few dish washer tablets, some tea bags and coffee...which is pretty much standard in Scotland anyways. I didn't like that you enter the house through the patio door and stand immediately in the middle of the kitchen/living room with no means to hang up coats and store shoes. The view is nice, I...
