"This was an amazingly good find as this hotel was excellent. Everything about it was more than expected, very comfortable and large rooms, well equipped with everything you need and of high quality. The staff from the 1st contact could not have done any more to make our stay comfortable. To cap it all, the food was superb, local produce with an excellent choice on the menu. Special mention must go to having a couple of Tunnocks Tea Cakes alongside the coffee machine, a nice touch. The fruit basket was the healthy option (nice) but the tea cakes, excellent !"

"The host was very helpful and attentive. The location is excellent. It’s small but we were out and about a lot so it worked for us. I would recommend bring slippers since the carpet seemed well used. We would stay again if we came back to the area because it was a good value."

"There is a lot involved with the decor in this place, so expect some dust in harder to clean areas. That said, we rented the upper suite and the unit was huge compared to most. It was great to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. Notably, the shower on the second floor of the upstairs unit had issues with consistency of flow and temperature, possibly when others were touching the faucets in other rooms (unconfirmed). There is some traffic noise from the street out front, but overall, this place was fabulous and we would definitely stay there again."
